COVID-19 PROTOCOLS

Each of our TRUETEETH surgical centers have always been among the cleanest, most sanitary offices in terms of infection control. Since the pandemic hit, we are remaining as diligent as ever and have implemented strict infection control and stringent screening measures.

Our sanitization, infection control protocols and social distancing measures include the following:

  • Asking that patients wait in their vehicles until they are ready to be seen to avoid waiting areas

  • Taking and recording all staff temperatures prior to each shift to ensure only healthy personnel are interacting with patients

  • Taking and recording all patient temperatures prior to being seated

  • Guiding patients to hand washing stations upon entering offices

  • Instructing patients to rinse with peroxide or Listerine prior to being treated

  • Requiring doctors and dental staff to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

  • Thoroughly and regularly cleaning all surfaces in offices that can be exposed to infection between patients

  • Requiring symptomatic patients to reschedule appointments to later dates

  • We’ve equipped each location with IQAir, a hospital-grade air purification system that removes even the tiniest microorganisms, including those the size of COVID-19

  • Each office has duct microbial mitigation services performed to ensure that our HVAC systems are clean and disinfected regularly.

In addition, our TRUETEETH team is now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Many of our team members have already received the vaccine or are being scheduled to receive their vaccine in the coming weeks.
