ROBERT BACIGALUPO, D.D.S.
Dr. Robert Bacigalupo grew up in West Hempstead and attended Kellenberg Memorial High School. After graduation, he attended Villanova University where he earned his bachelor's degree in biology. He then attended Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was honored with the distinction of being ranked first in his class. Following dental school, Dr. Bacigalupo completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center/Northwell Health, where he served as Chief Resident at LIJ Medical Center, Stony Brook University Hospital and the Northport VA Medical Center.
Dr. Bacigalupo has trained extensively in the specialty of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, pathology, maxillofacial trauma, dental implants and bone grafting. During residency, he employed the most recent advances in digital technology for virtual treatment planning and computer guided surgery.
Dr. Bacigalupo is Board Certified and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine where he teaches monthly. He is a member of numerous dental associations and serves patients through several local hospitals including St. Francis Hospital, North Shore University Hospital, and Long Island Jewish Medical Center.
Outside of Oral Surgery, Dr. Bacigalupo enjoys spending time with his family and hopes to continue his volunteer experiences in the dental and surgical field. He met his wife, Kara, at Villanova University and they have three beautiful daughters together.
